Brandplane Selected by the Italian Ministry of Tourism for the “Innovation Network” Program, presented at the G7 in Florence from November 13-15

The company’s technology now integrates with the digital services of the new national Tourism Digital Hub

Milan, November 7, 2024 – Brandplane, a Milan-based startup operating since February 2023 and founded by Marta Basso and Emanuele Bartolesi, has been selected by the Ministry of Tourism to participate in the strategic “Innovation Network” program.

Brandplane provides a web-based platform that uses machine learning to automate marketing strategies and simplify content creation, management, and distribution. From crafting engaging social media posts to scheduling complete campaign calendars, Brandplane helps clients achieve their marketing goals efficiently, all while ensuring data protection and strict compliance with local privacy regulations.

The “Innovation Network” initiative, presented at the first-ever G7 summit dedicated to the tourism sector, taking place in Florence from November 13-15, is designed to support startups developing impactful, cutting-edge solutions for the tourism industry. This program is a key part of the Ministry’s push for digital transformation and innovation through the Tourism Digital Hub (TDH), a platform aimed at modernising and connecting Italy’s tourism ecosystem.

By participating in the program, Brandplane will be able to further develop its technology and integrate with the new digital hub. Selected startups receive grants of up to €150,000 to help advance and scale their projects.

Brandplane’s solution is tailored for tourism operators, making it easier to target and reach niche audiences with highly tailored marketing campaigns. Leveraging best-in-class AI technologies, the platform offers small and medium-sized tourism businesses easy access to efficient, optimised marketing strategies that save time and money, while breaking down technology barriers for non-technical audiences.

Co-founder Marta Basso will represent Brandplane at the G7 event, which will be chaired by Minister Daniela Santanchè, with officials and delegates attending from Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the European Union.

“This initiative enables Brandplane’s features to integrate with the Ministry of Tourism’s platform, allowing us to stay true to our mission of supporting businesses of all sizes by democratising access to marketing tools,” commented Marta Basso, co-founder and CEO of Brandplane. “Our goal is to empower small and medium-sized businesses, helping them grow by saving time and reducing costs through AI-driven solutions. We’re proud to be part of the economic growth story of our country’s entrepreneurial landscape”
